I’ve heard so much about Touch In Sol as a brand on Instagram, so when I got the opportunity to try out some of their products I was so excited ! I’ve been eyeing up their products for ages on Cult Beauty (they’re sold at a lot more places now, like ASOS and feelunique – yey), particularly their complexion products, as as a K-Beauty brand I expect a lot in that department. Their products are almost always sold out, and there is definitely a reason why…
Touch In Sol Don’t Tell Anybody Dual Concealer | £14 | Link
The ‘Don’t Tell Anybody Concealer’ by Touch In Sol is something completely unique to my collection. It’s a double ended concealer with two different formulas and for that reason, I’ve found it’s a hand bag essential. Here’s what the Cult Beauty website has to say about this little gem:
Uniting two concealers in one, Touch In Sol’s Don’t Tell Anybody Dual Concealer is the secret to perfect camouflaging. A crafty, dual-ended little number, it features both a stick and liquid concealer so that you can customise coverage for different areas of your face. The richly pigmented yet blendable stick is perfect for precise concealing, covering spots and blemishes with ease, while the liquid formula (complete with brush applicator) moisturises and subtly brightens.
The packaging is cute but sleek, and the lid is nice and secure. I’ve found that the stick end of this concealer is perfect for blemishes (as suggested) as it’s s little darker than my skin tone and has a lovely creamy texture. It’s also great for pricing the lid and carving out under the brows quickly.
The liquid side of this concealer gives a fresh looking, medium coverage under the eye that doesn’t look dry on my skin. I find this product blends best with fingers and on me, does need to be set with a powder to get the best longevity.
Above you can see a swatch of the stick concealer on the left and the liquid concealer on the right. The right side is the perfect shade for under my eyes (as it’s not too bright).
Touch In Sol Toc Toc Toning Capsule Base | £16 | Link
From me looking into the brand, Touch In Sol seem to be famous for their primers – I’d particularly like to try out their No Poreblem Primer at some point.
The Toc Toc Toning Capsule Base is really difficult to explain – it essentially contains micro-beads that burst and both colour correct and tone the face.
You can see there’s a mini spatula inside to help spread the product on the face, however I find the best way to use this is to put some in the hands first to break the bubbles before putting on the face. Otherwise you have to press quite hard when on the face to get them to spread well.
Touch In Sol Metallist Shadow Liquid Foil and Glitter Duo | Talia | £20 | Link
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL ! I need all of these in every single colour. The Touch In Sol Metallist Duo In Talia is a gorgeous champagne duo with a liquid foil eye shadow on one end and an intense glitter on the other, These can be used on their own and separately.
This lasts far better on me than the Stila liquid shadows do (to which they are similar) and as the glitter is separate you can create more versatile looks with the Touch In Sol version. I do find I need to use a glitter primer with this product however, just as a heads up!
The shade is really pretty and neutral, so something any glitter lover would enjoy.
Touch In Sol Mission Complete Waterproof Sensitive Lip and Eye Perfect Cleanser | £14.50 | Link
…and after you’ve worn all this makeup, you need something to take it off. That’s where the Touch In Sol Mission Complete Cleanser comes in!
My only criticism of this product us that I don’t like how this feels on my lips (too emollient and oily) so I don’t use it there. Other than that, it does exactly what it says on the tin!
The claim that this is good for sensitive skin I also find to be true. As someone who has really sensitive, dry eyes (as a contact lens wearer) I find a lot of cleansers can irritate my eyes and skin but this is very gentle on that delicate area.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the products I tried, particularly the duo eye shadow, and I’d love to try more from the brand. Have you tried much from Touch In Sol ?
