Colourpop has been going mad with new releases recently, and I for one can’t get enough of it! Today I’ll be sharing with you my latest haul (you can find a previous one here) and if you read to the end you’ll find a small #yesplease giveaway going on on my Instagram.
I made a few purchases from Colourpop Cosmetics a while back and had completely forgotten I’d ordered (as they took quite some time to arrive in the UK from the US), so much so that I actually placed another order more recently – so you might be reading about another Colourpop haul soon. For now, let’s get into this one.
Colourpop Lip Products
Blotted Lip | Sucker – $5.00
I have previously bought three Ultra Blotted Liquid Lipsticks from Colourpop and although they did as they promised, I didn’t like the feel of them on my lips as they set to a powder finish. These are a matte sheer but more of a traditional lipstick formula – which I’m gradually realising I prefer over their liquid counter parts.
Sucker is described as a ‘soft coral [that] really packs a punch,’ that is also lightweight on the lips and buildable. I purchased this shade because I always hate shades that lean orange/coral on my skin tone, and I thought that a sheer would be a good way to ease myself into these types of shades!
Matte X Lippie Stix | Climax – $5.00
I have a real obsession going on for blue lipstick at the moment – I seriously don’t know why, so don’t ask. This lipstick is an intense matte with no shine whatsoever that perhaps leans more indigo than blue

Pressed Powder Highlighter | S’il Vous Play – $8.00
I have one word for this product – GLITTER BOMB. I haven’t tried this on my face yet, and although I’m not the biggest fan of glittery highlights, I think for the price this makes an ideal highlight for Instagram. Also, for how intensely glittery this is, it somehow manages not to feel too gritty.
No Filter Concealer | Fair Neutral 10 – $6.00
I’ve tried this once so far – I couldn’t wait, and it was love at first swipe with the applicator on this beauty. Oddly not something I normally pick out but I noticed it immediately so I thought I’d mention it. I think the shade suites me really well (thankfully), so for anyone curious I normally use the shade ‘Vanilla’ in the Nars concealers. Full review coming soon.
Colourpop Eye Products
Pressed Powder Palette | Belle of the Ball – $12.00
This is one of Colourpop’s curated foursome of eyeshadows – and from first impressions these are very smooth. Belle of the Ball is a pink shade selection and I deliberately purchased these because I know I struggle to find the right sort of pink shades – so maybe there’ll be one in this.
Pressed Powder Shadow Palette | Colourpop #YESPLEASE Palette – $16.00
…and now for the giveaway item! I purchased this palette separately, and as it’s a year round since I started this blog so I thought it’d be a nice idea to give this away – as Colourpop is one of my all round favourite brands. To enter, head over to me Instagram, and be sure to say hello!
