Hot Lips Lipstick – Kidman’s Kiss
Kidman’s Kiss is described as a just kissed rose-petal pink colour and is in a luminous modern matte finish – I’m very excited to try the formula. Obviously the celebrity associated with this lipstick is Nicole Kidman, and as she’s very fair (like myself) I thought I’d give this one a go! I also wanted to get Liv it Up (and still might), as this is a classic ‘me’ colour, but was concerned it might be too similar to a YSL lipstick I own. I haven’t tried this on yet at all, so all I know is I find the click of the lid incredibly satisfying when you close it.
Lip Lustre – Portobello Girl
I like a matte Lipstick as much as the next girl, but for me, gloss is where it’s at! Portobello Girl is supposed to be a non sticky, perfect natural pink colour that’s long wearing. The packaging on this is gorgeous!
Luxury Palette – The Vintage Vamp
Of course I had to get eye shadow. All the palettes are stunning and the packaging to me is just beautiful, but the rusty tones in ‘The Vintage Vamp’ really appealed to me. I’m going to play around with this and see what looks come out.
Legendary Brows – Linda
I’ve tried this once, and at first impression the colour seems good – Linda is said to be for dark blonde to medium brown hair. As my hair is naturally dark brown but is dyed a light blonde colour I personally go for slightly darker on my brows than a naturally blonde person would. All the shades seem to cater for different hair colours – but obviously I can’t comment on these. Linda didn’t pull too red (which is good), and was quick to apply. The wand is tiny!
