Makeup Monthly: January’s Best in Beauty

Makeup Flatlay

I’ve resolved to make my monthly favourites more succinct and consistent this year – so I will post these on the first Monday of every month throughout 2018 and I’ll try my best to keep them short and to the point!

This is obviously my first favourites post of 2018, so I hope you enjoy it:

Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation | Shell | Link

Although pricey, I simply adore this foundation. It’s emollient without being greasy and has good coverage without being heavy. I can’t use this shade all over my face this time of year but I’ve really been enjoying this as a mixer this month. I wear this a lot over on Instagram.

Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer | Vanilla | Link

When I had to choose a concealer to take away with me to Iceland this month – I chose this one. Although I’m having a bit of a love affair with the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer at the moment, I’ve adored this one for far longer. There is now a massive dent in the product that’s a testiment to this.

Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blusher | Love Glow | Link

Charlotte Tilbury products rarely set a foot wrong in my book – and I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to try one of her blushes. I got bought this for Christmas and now I want the entire collection ! The shade is so gorgeous and glowly on fair skin.

Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops | At First Light | Link

My boyfriend bought me these for Christmas and although they are mind blowingly affordable they certainly pack a punch ! The shade is a perfect luminous pink and a little goes a long way.

Marc Jacobs Iconic Eye Shadow Palette | Provocouture | Link

I don’t think there’s much more to say than the formula of these eye shadows is perfection. The shades of these shadows are very much tones that I gravitate towards to and they blend so effortlessly

Nanshy Stippling Brush

I mentioned in my recent review how much I loved this brush – so much so that although the brand sent me this to try, I have bought myself another. This brush drapes blush over cheekbones with ease and gives a smooth blend to whatever product it touches! I currently have my eye on their Bare Necessities Collection too – I don’t have any brushes that look like these yet.

What did you fall in love with this month ?
