ZOEVA Cocoa Blend Palette: Look and Mini Review

I’m a fan of warm toned eye shadows and I love any kind of chocolatey brown. In fact, if I could say anything about them I’d say that they’re a weakness of mine (one of many I’m sure). So the ZOEVA Cocoa Blend palette is right up my alley. This isn’t really a review – I’ve had this palette for a few months now and I love it, especially for the price (currently £18 on Beauty Bay), and there’s not much else to say. The shadows themselves are buttery, with the shade ‘pure ganache’ feeling more like a cream than a powder and I love the inclusion of the shade ‘warm notes’ – such a beautiful cranberry colour.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette Swatches
On NW15 skin, left to right : Bitter Start, Sweeter End, Warm Notes, Subtle Blend, Beans are White, Pure Ganache, Substitute for Love, Freshly Toasted, Infusion, Delicate Acidity.
Nail Varnish: Illamasqua – Noble

The only shade I find to be slightly useless is ‘delicate acidity’, it doesn’t swatch as it looks in the pan and I don’t find it flows, as a colour, with the over all look of the palette – however if you like these kinds of shades I’m sure you’ll use it more than I do. On the other hand the packaging is also incredibly slim and sleek making it easy for travel, making it a product I’d recommend to anyone.
